MH Stoneworks
St. John Chrysostom
2016 - 2020
The restoration of this building happened in three phases over a four year period which included the large main tower, the smaller tower and the complete front entrance area on the West elevation.
The building was constructed in a gothic style with a local limestone integrated with many overhanging cornices, arches and various other features from that time period. There was a complete rake-out and repoint of all mortar joints, many new carved and cut stone replacements with major take-down and rebuilds as well as a host of other restoration interventions required to complete the project.
